Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Supervising Psychologist
Midtown + Brooklyn Heights + Virtual

As a therapist, I aim to empower my clients and help increase their understanding of themselves, their emotions, their past experiences, and their relationships. Wherever you may be in your life or therapeutic journey, I will support you and join you to help you take the next steps towards personal growth.

I strongly believe that the relationship and collaboration between a therapist and client is essential in order to create a safe therapeutic space to help generate change. With this in mind, my approach is warm, non-judgemental, and authentic. I will check in with you often to see how my comments are landing and we will work together as a team to help you approach whatever challenges you face.

While my primary approach is psychodynamic/relational, I also have considerable experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and will incorporate coping skills and mindfulness techniques into sessions when appropriate. I adapt my approach to each person, based on their individual needs and goals for therapy.

I am experienced in working with adults, adolescents, and families with a wide range of presenting concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, identity issues, and relationship challenges. I welcome clients of all racial and cultural backgrounds as well as individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Training

I earned my Masters in Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City. My research focused on how therapists can best respond to and support their suicidal clients. During my training, I have held positions at The Safran Center for Psychological Services, Fort Hamilton Clinic, and Lenox Hill Hospital. I completed my doctoral internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital.
