Licensed Clinical Psychologist

The reasons people seek out therapy are multifaceted. Very often, people find themselves feeling stuck in patterns that are confusing and daunting, even when they have some sense of what it might take to live a more fulfilling life. These patterns tend to persist in large part due to a lack of resources, whether time, supportive relationships, or unmet needs. Attempting to regain and nourish these resources can be difficult to do alone. While everyone’s journey will look different, my goal as a therapist is to help clients make sense of unwanted patterns, collaboratively create a roadmap, and move toward a more fulfilled and flexible life.

I have a collaborative, warm, and candid therapeutic style. I tend to work primarily from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, though I often incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with clients as well. I value the insight and catharsis that can emerge from meaningful depth work, and recognize that sometimes the demands of our everyday lives require a more hands-on, pragmatic approach.

I treat the opportunity to provide therapy to my clients as a privilege, and welcome working with people across a variety of cultural backgrounds, including children of immigrant families who identify as BIPOC. I believe that therapy is a creative process at its heart, and I strive to work with clients in forming new patterns that are aligned with the lives they want to live.
