People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some are navigating the impact of trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or significant life transitions, while others are hoping to better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their lives. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful.
My goal is to provide a collaborative and supportive environment where you feel safe to explore your experiences with curiosity and honesty. Together, we can reflect on how your past experiences have shaped the present, deepen your understanding of yourself, and work toward meaningful and lasting change
I work from an integrative approach, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, goals, and experiences. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, focusing on understanding how past experiences, important relationships, and longstanding emotional patterns may shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I also incorporate practical skills and evidence-based techniques when needed. I draw on my experience conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and evidence-based trauma-focused treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
I have specialized training in trauma and have worked extensively with individuals navigating PTSD and its lasting effects, including veterans and military families. Trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world, and my goal is to help you process those experiences at a pace that feels safe, while building the resilience and tools to live a life guided by your values rather than your past.
In addition, I work with couples seeking to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and navigate recurring patterns of conflict. My work is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps partners better understand one another and create more secure, meaningful ways of relating.
I welcome individuals of all backgrounds and aim to provide care that is attuned to each person's unique experiences, identities, and values. Together, we can explore the relationships and broader contexts that have shaped how you understand yourself and move through the world, while also developing the insight and skills needed to navigate life's challenges. I believe that combining thoughtful exploration with practical support creates space for meaningful growth and lasting change.
