As a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychologist, I approach therapy with openness and genuine curiosity. I believe psychotherapy is challenging yet deeply meaningful work. From the outset, I aim to understand the core issues that bring you to therapy so we can work toward lasting change.

You may feel caught in recurring patterns, disconnected from your emotions, misunderstood by others, or uncertain about who you are and what you want. You may appear capable and successful while privately feeling overwhelmed, withdrawn, dissatisfied, or unable to create the life you envision. You may have tried therapy before without experiencing the change you were hoping for, or you may feel hesitant to begin for the first time. I welcome all parts of your experience into therapy.

My therapeutic stance is warm, engaged, nonjudgmental, and balances compassion with directness. I pay careful attention to experiences that may go unnoticed, remain unspoken, or feel difficult to understand. I aim to create a space that feels collaborative and exploratory. We will work to understand what keeps you feeling stuck, put difficult emotional experiences into words and process them, and develop more flexible ways of relating to yourself and others. I integrate practical tools and structured interventions when helpful while maintaining a primary focus on deeper change that supports a more connected, authentic, and fulfilling life.

My approach is psychodynamic and depth-oriented, informed by neuropsychoanalysis and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP). Because I view the therapeutic relationship as central to meaningful change, I listen closely, ask questions, share observations, and remain attentive to the unique ways you experience yourself and others. Together, we explore not only immediate symptoms but also the emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns shaping your relationships, choices, and sense of self.

I have worked with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, perfectionism, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, personality challenges, and major life transitions. My experience spans a range of clinical settings and work with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, including members of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, creative individuals, and people from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, religious, socioeconomic, and political backgrounds.

In this space, your complexity is welcome. You do not have to simplify yourself to be understood.
