Seeking therapy is a powerful act of self-care. I am so glad you are here! You may be struggling with feeling stuck, overwhelmed, depressed, confused, or alone. You may be adjusting to new circumstances, grieving a loss, contemplating change, or weathering a life transition. You may be looking to better understand yourself or your relationships. Whatever has brought you to therapy, I am here to listen and be curious with you about your thoughts, feelings, actions, experiences, and socio-cultural context. I work with adults of all ages and from all walks of life to cope with daily challenges, make sense of difficult experiences, deepen self-understanding, and find a meaningful way forward. Together, we will create a space of safety and acceptance that will allow us to explore your beliefs, relationships, and identities, as well as hold space for your emotions, identify patterns and make meaning from your life experiences, harness your innate strengths, and find a compassionate balance between acceptance and change.

My therapeutic approach is genuine, emotionally present, thoughtful, and direct. It is important to me that we work together to create a therapeutic space that feels like your own – one where you feel seen, heard, and respected. Our work together will be grounded in deep exploration of your experiences, emotions, and relationships, utilizing strategies and skills from CBT and DBT as appropriate. I believe that the relationship between client and therapist can be a powerful tool for exploring interpersonal patterns, increasing self-awareness and self-knowledge, healing old wounds, and developing important skills. As such, finding the right “fit” is hugely important. I encourage an open and honest dialogue about our relationship and interactions, and I care deeply about forging a warm and authentic connection with my clients. I am affirming of all gender, sexual, ethnocultural, national, and religious identities, and welcome clients representing all variations of personal and cultural identity with humility, openness, and respect.
