Therapy is a collaborative process. I strive to create a space that feels open, supportive, and grounded in empathy–with room for reflection, honesty, and even a little humor. I will work alongside you to build insight and self-compassion while gently challenging the inner messages and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I bring curiosity and care to each session, working to understand how past relationships may shape current challenges and how you can move toward a more authentic and connected sense of self.
It is important to me to tailor treatment to meet my clients’ unique needs. While I’m rooted in psychodynamic and interpersonal theories, I often incorporate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). When needed, I also draw on evidence-based trauma treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). My goal is always to meet you where you are and adapt our work to what feels most useful for you.
I welcome people from all walks of life and work with individuals across the lifespan. I have experience supporting clients through depression, trauma (both acute and complex), identity issues, relationship difficulties, and more. I firmly believe in the power of identity exploration and seek to understand how your sense of individuality, culture, and community, impact your relationship with yourself, others and the world around you. I approach our work with cultural sensitivity and curiosity, and I have a particular focus on working with BIPOC individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
