I believe we make sense of ourselves and grow through our relationships. That is why I see therapy not simply as a place to solve problems, but as a relationship with your therapist that offers a steady, attentive space to reflect. I’ve seen time and again how much can shift in this kind of environment: beyond relief from distress, this work creates room for richer relationships, greater creative freedom, and a lighter, more flexible way of moving through life. My goal is to build an attuned, collaborative partnership where you can explore your experiences with openness and curiosity.
Grounded in psychodynamic therapy and informed by an awareness of how emotional experiences are held in the body, I pair deep self-understanding with practical support. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we'll seek to understand what they're communicating. By bringing greater awareness to the emotions and patterns beneath them, you'll be better able to respond with intention instead of reacting on autopilot. Along the way, I offer thoughtful feedback and integrate practical tools from mindfulness, CBT, and DBT to help steady your emotional rhythm. Across all my work, I pay close attention to how early attachment experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others, drawing strongly on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in couples therapy.
In individual therapy, I support clients working through anxiety, depression, grief, and stress related to career or academic demands, as well as those navigating major life transitions or exploring questions of identity, culture, immigration, neurodivergence, and belonging.
With couples, I help partners shift recurring patterns of conflict, rebuild trust after ruptures, and bridge emotional distance—whether preparing for milestones such as marriage and parenthood or reevaluating the structure of their relationship.
I also specialize in supporting individuals and couples through family-building and reproductive transitions, including pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the emotional impact of hormonal changes such as PMS and PMDD.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, and aim to cultivate a space where everyone feels safe, valued, and affirmed. As a bilingual and multicultural psychologist, I offer therapy in both English and Turkish.
